Rural Docs in Nebraska

All rural docs in Nebraska go to allopathic or osteopathic medical schools for 4 years. Rural FP docs take an additional 3 years of Family Medicine residency. Often this involves a specific rural training programs such as Kearney, Norfolk, Scottsbluff, North Platte, or Grand Island.

Pediatricians would do 3 years of general pediatrics residency.

General Surgeons would do 5 years of a surgical residency.
